In 2005 we announced the opening of new chapter of Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation in Quebec. Kelly's dream was to see new chapters of the foundation open in all provinces accross Canada in order to help more and more women diagnostiqued with breast cancer.
After Ontario, this new adventure started in Quebec with the "1st Randonné des Neiges Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein" hosted on March 4th, 2006 at L'Esterel resort in Laurentides region.
The "2nd Randonné des Neiges Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein" was hosted on March 24, 2007, at L'Esterel resort in Laurentides region.
The "3rd Randonné des Neiges Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein" was hosted on February 23, 2008, at L'Esterel resort in Laurentides region, and $80,000 were raised that year.
The "4th Randonné des Neiges Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein" was hosted on February 28, 2009, at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Quebec , and $150,000 were raised that year.
The "5th Randonné des Neiges Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein" was hosted on February 27, 2010, at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Quebec , and $162,000 were raised that year, our record so far. Thanks to all fundraisers, sponsors and volonteers.
We are glad to announce the 6th Randonnée des Neiges de Kelly Shires contre le Cancer du Sein which will take place again this year at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel, on Saturday February 26, 2011.
